A good cooperation grew with the pastors and with many parishioners. To our regret, the sisters decided to dissolve their small community in Amsterdam and move to The Hague. Sister Suchita has meanwhile resigned as a member of the parish council. In September 2025 they will leave our parishes to take on new tasks in pastoral care in The Hague.
We thank the sisters for who they were and for what they have meant to our parishes, and we wish that, with God's grace and with His blessing, they may fully live out their vocation as missionary sisters in The Hague.

Afscheid van de zusters Suchita en Eustokhia
Begin 2022 kwamen drie ‘Missiezusters Dienaressen van de Heilige Geest’ (SSpS) in Amsterdam West wonen. Ze bleven gedeeltelijk hun apostolaat in Amsterdam Oost voortzetten, maar wilden zich ook engageren in de parochies van West en Nieuw West: ziekenbezoek, voorgaan in gebedsvieringen, kindernevendienst, catechese voor eerste communie en vormsel. Er groeide een goede samenwerking met de pastores en met veel parochianen. Tot onze spijt besloten de zusters hun kleine gemeenschap in Amsterdam op te heffen en te verhuizen naar Den Haag. Zuster Suchita heeft inmiddels ontslag genomen als lid van het parochiebestuur. In september 2025 zullen ze onze parochies verlaten om in Den Haag nieuwe taken op te nemen in het pastoraat.
We danken de zusters voor wie ze waren en voor wat ze betekend hebben in onze parochies, en wensen dat ze met Gods genade en met Zijn zegen ten volle hun roeping als missiezusters waar mogen maken in Den Haag.
