Behind the scenes, the pastoral team of the Clara & Franciscus Partnership (SWV) is busy finalising the draft Pastoral Plan, which was drawn up in close collaboration with the five regional boards. It will shortly be presented to you.
The plan invites us to return together to the basics and to reflect on the essence of our faith. Why are we church? What does the community of Christ mean for us in daily life? And how can we heed Jesus' call to be, as a missionary Church, a place where everyone – including those who are still searching – may experience His hope, comfort and love?
Eucharistic celebrations, Liturgies of the Word and Communion services, moments of prayer and deepening of faith form the valuable foundations of our community. For together we are one: different members forming one Body together. To keep this community alive, we are building it together.

Samen bouwen aan onze kerk
Beste parochianen,
Achter de schermen is het pastoraal team van het Samenwerkingsverband (SWV) Clara & Franciscus bezig met het finaliseren van het concept Pastoraal Plan, dat tot stand is gekomen in nauwe samenwerking met de vijf regiobesturen. Binnenkort zal het aan u worden gepresenteerd.
Het plan nodigt ons uit om samen terug te keren naar de basis en stil te staan bij de essentie van ons geloof. Waarom zijn we kerk? Wat betekent de gemeenschap van Christus voor ons in het dagelijks leven? En hoe kunnen we gehoor geven aan de oproep van Jezus om als missionaire Kerk een plek te zijn waar iedereen -ook wie nog zoekende is- Zijn hoop, troost en liefde mag ervaren?
Eucharistievieringen, Woord- en Communiediensten, momenten van gebed en geloofsverdieping vormen de waardevolle fundamenten van onze gemeenschap. Samen zijn we immers één: verschillende ledematen die samen één Lichaam vormen. Om deze gemeenschap levendig te houden, bouwen we er samen aan.
